I'm Miki – the heart and hands behind Shabby Chic & Co.

Let me share a little bit about myself and my creative journey.

I’m a proud brand ambassador and official stockist for Redesign with Prima, and I also carry beloved DIY brands like Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Dixie Belle, the Australian gem Pureco, FlexiWood, and many more inspiring products. You’ll find my cozy little booth inside the Camp Hill Antique Centre, open 7 days a week – where I’ve been nestled for over five years now.

With a background in graphic design, creativity is in my blood. My passion lies in transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary – whether it's a delicate detail or a bold statement piece, every design is tailored to suit my client's vision.

It’s been nearly 9 years since I first picked up a paintbrush and fell in love with the art of furniture painting. Just two years in, I left my full-time graphic design job to follow my heart and become my own boss. And I’ve never looked back.

Services

Commission Work

I lovingly restore and paint clients' furniture – breathing new life into cherished antiques and family heirlooms. Every piece tells a story, and I feel honoured to help preserve that history in a new light.

Onsite Commission Work

For those larger, tricky-to-move pieces, I offer onsite painting services. I come to you – making the process smooth and stress-free.

Workshops

From beginners to advanced artists, I offer workshops that inspire and empower. Join a group session, private group, or enjoy a one-on-one experience. I also create custom workshops for special occasions like birthdays, hen parties, anniversaries, and more – always with a touch of flair and fun!
