I’m Cláudia Maria Ferreira Reis — teacher by profession, artist by heart. My passion for transforming furniture began after a personal health challenge, when creativity became my therapy and source of joy. What started as a healing hobby has grown into Mimossomim By Maria Ferreira — a space where forgotten furniture finds new life and beauty.

Every piece I work on tells a story. I rescue “lifeless” furniture and design them a fresh, captivating essence. Old doors become unique wall art, discarded jars and bottles transform into charming decor, and everyday materials — even something as humble as cleaned styrofoam trays — find a new purpose in my creations.

I work with ecological, water-based paints, using techniques like decoupage with carefully sourced international materials, wood and resin applications for texture and depth, and bespoke finishes that make each piece truly one-of-a-kind.

My goal is simple: to turn forgotten objects into treasures that become the centerpiece of your home — and to see the smile that comes with each transformation.
