Meet Laura Hodgson a lawyer turned artist. 

Faced with a demanding job and a toddler in September 2021 Laura decided to devote more of her time to her interiors business rather than being a lawyer. 

She has always had a passion for interior design and styling and turned her hand to furniture painting at the weekends during Covid 19 when she transformed a piece of furniture for her own home that was her late grandparents. 

Her artistic style is characterised as that of true elegance and pure beauty through her use of neutral shades and colours inspired by nature. She creates contemporary, rustic, cottage style designs of furniture and hand painted interiors. Her floor standing vases are real statements in many homes. 

Laura’s business has grown into her extending her garage creating a workshop, where you will find her working on bespoke commission pieces for clients and in between these unique pieces for sale. She also sources vintage items and has a large inventory of beautiful items for sale on her website. 

Laura’s business is named after her first born child Finley, being Finn Interiors. She has recently had a baby girl and created a children and baby collection named after her little girl the Isla-Rose Elizabeth Collection. 

Finn interiors is a family affair and today continues to inspire others to think more creatively and sentimentally about how they style their homes and the transformations that can be achieved by artists like her.
