With a passion for design from an early age, Jane began her creative journey by studying for a City & Guilds qualification in Specialist Paint Effects and Working Design for Interiors. This provided a strong foundation for both her professional path and artistic development.

Jane went on to work as an arts and crafts instructor, supporting adults with special needs and leading creative workshops within the prison system—experiences that further deepened her love for teaching and creative expression. Alongside this, she applied decorative paint finishes in both private homes and commercial spaces, including a nightclub in Cyprus. Despite a busy career, she always found time to nurture her own creative pursuits, particularly painting and crafting.

Now based in Carmarthenshire, Jane finds great joy in transforming forgotten furniture into beautiful, meaningful pieces. She often describes her process as intuitive, feeling that each piece “speaks” and guides its own transformation. 

Alongside her furniture work, Jane also creates with clay, using her handmade pieces to thoughtfully style and complement her finished designs.
