Revived and Restored is a family-run furniture painting and restoration workshop set in the beautiful countryside of Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Founded by Melanie and her father, Mike, the workshop specialises in transforming vintage and pre-loved furniture into bespoke, hand-crafted pieces that blend timeless character with contemporary style.

Our Story

With a background in interior design, Melanie discovered her passion for giving old furniture a new lease of life. Mike, a former chartered accountant, wanted to create a business that brought out a shared passion for design and beautiful things. Having transformed pieces for their own homes over the years, turning vintage furniture into something, both beautiful and functional, again felt like a natural next step — a no-brainer. Together, they built a workshop where creativity, quality, and thoughtful design come together.

As Revived and Restored grew, the team expanded. Rob, an experienced wood craftsman, contributes expert joinery and restoration skills, while Zak supports the business behind the scenes with digital strategy and online marketing. Together, the team is dedicated to breathing new life into forgotten furniture and crafting pieces that will be cherished for years to come.
