My skills came from my apprentice days as a wood machinist. I worked in teaching for 20yrs teaching students product design which is where my interest in design styles was honed. I had a plan to leave teaching to start a business interest in repair, recycling and making furniture. I was speaking to my A level students about my plans to do this and they came up with the name 'Never 2 old Furniture'. I've established myself in my workshop which is in a building that serves the local population with second hand furniture which is generated from house clearance services. That's where I'm able to show the furniture that I work on. Effectively, I intercept furniture that is destined for landfill. I have a website that describes all my service skills. I also run courses on repair and recycling furniture. My workshop has run for 10 yrs and I love what I do.

I'm based in South East Wales. Blaenavon has a rich history of industrial works. My workshop is within a non profit recycling centre called Circulate furniture recycling centre.
