Jolanda, owner of Misses Tree Designs, is a UK based artist, living in the English countryside. The name, Misses Tree Designs, is inspired by her Dutch surname which means tall tree and the fact that Jolanda loves to work with wood and like to create fairy tale furniture by adding branches to some of her furniture. With a background in Art School and Furniture and Upholstery College, Jolanda creates unique art furniture and folding screens. The furniture used is second hand, and the history of the pieces is respected, as this history makes the furniture unique. This is especially important when Jolanda works with heirloom pieces, where the marks on the furniture can tell a story. The folding screens created by Jolanda can be adjusted to your needs, re sizes and designs. Jolanda can also create non-moving partitions for your living space and bespoke headboards. Jolanda welcomes commissions, whether it’s a small piece, a huge wardrobe, help designing your own headboard, or working together on a piece of furniture during a workshop.
