My name is Cláudia Maria Ferreira Reis, I am a teacher by profession and I discovered my taste for recycling/transforming pieces of furniture after a health problem. This hobby helped me get through this problem and has stayed to this day. I decided to create a proper name Mimossomim By Maria Ferreira. I reuse the furniture that is already "lifeless" and design them a new appealing essence. Of these same transformations I take advantage of the woods (for example doors) to make small pictures, where various materials are placed, for example in the case of styrofoam (boards where the meats are placed) that after being cleaned are glued to make different effects. I take advantage of jars, bottles, etc. to paint and create jars.

I love seeing the smile on each face after seeing the transformation of your furniture that was forgotten in a corner of the garage and that from that moment on will be the center of attention of the place where it will be placed.

That's how I paint furniture, in general.

I use ecological and water-based paints, I do decoupage, with materials from abroad, since here in our country they are not produced, I put wood/resin applications to create shapes in smoother spaces, etc. I have an online store www.mimossomim.pt where I sell several materials for furniture renovation including vintage paint, re.design with prima, posh chalk, etc.
