Marija Lukić is a Serbian artist, furniture designer and founder of Marija Lukić PR Shabby Chic Design, a creative atelier specialising in furniture redesign, artistic finishes, interior decoration and unique handcrafted creations.

Combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary techniques, Marija transforms furniture and everyday objects into distinctive pieces that tell stories, preserve memories and celebrate individuality. Through her artistic use of colour, texture, patina and form, she gives new life to existing objects, creating pieces that bring warmth, character and timeless elegance into a space.

As the representative of brend Annie Sloan in Serbia, Marija shares her passion for the renowned British brand and its Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® range. Her atelier offers Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® products, accessories, expert advice and creative workshops, where participants can explore furniture painting techniques, develop their skills and discover their own creative potential.

Marija’s dedication to traditional artistic craftsmanship is recognised by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia, which awarded her a certificate recognising her work as an Old Artistic Craft (Stari umetnički zanat). This recognition is associated with Serbia’s protected Open Palm mark, which identifies eligible works within the tradition of recognised artistic craftsmanship.
As she prepares to relocate her atelier to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, Marija is entering an exciting new chapter in her creative journey. Her vision is to expand her artistic presence and develop new collaborations with artists, designers and creative communities across the Balkans, Eastern Europe and the wider international art and design scene. While the atelier will move to Belgrade, her business will remain registered in Čačak, the city where her creative journey began and developed.
