Our Creative Process
Step 01: Sourcing Antique Pieces
Our customers provide us with antique furniture or we hunt for solid vintage furniture from marketplaces in Norway. We also work with our clients' furniture. In our studio or on-site projects around the world. Our clients provide photos of the furniture and the space, and we provide a professional vision and recommendations.
Step 02: Restoration and Preparation
We clean and repair the piece, fixing joints and sanding surfaces. This makes the furniture strong and ready for updates.
Step 03: Design and Decoration
We apply different decoupage techniques. Textile decoupage with natural and high-grade fabrics is our preffered choice, due to high resistance to dust, long lasting effect and durability/scratch resistance.
We also use only premium chalk mineral paints.
For accents and stand-out elements we commonly use recycled mink fur, and other similar materials.
Step 04: Finishing and Polishing
We use liquid glass for surface protection. This coating significantly extends the furniture's lifespan and makes it resistant to wear — ideal for places like hotels, restaurants, and other high-traffic areas.
